Kasaï oriental : Le bac de Ndomba toujours inopérationnel depuis son inauguration
Listen to this articleLe bac de Ndomba lancé sur la traversée de la rivière Lubi en territoire de Kabeya Kamwanga depuis le mercredi 19 janvier 2021 n’est toujours pas opérationnel. Le constat a été fait ce jeudi 25 février lors de descente effectuée dans cette partie de la province.
Cet engin dont l’avènement a été salué par les autorités provinciales et locales ainsi que la population riveraine, est accroché à un câble sur la rive droite, depuis son lancement par le gouverneur Jean Maweja.
Selon le directeur technique de la régie des voies fluviales (RVF), Gabriel Mokango, le stationnement de ce bac sur la rivière présente plusieurs dangers, d’où son voeu d’interpeller les autorités de l’Office des Routes.
« Si ça se tire fort, le câble peut céder. Le bac peut dériver. Donc il faut attirer l’attention des autorités de l’Office des Routes pour donner un peu de mètres par rapport au câble. Lâcher quelques mètres du câble pour que ça suive l’eau », a-t-il déclaré.
Le bac s’est déjà penché d’un côté avec risque de stopper un tas de sable. « Si le bac va finalement reposer sur le sable, il doit attendre encore la pluie, quand les eaux seront hautes pour que ça flotte. Si vous échouez sur le sable, il faut qu’on le traque de force par un autre bateau », a-t-il ajouté, sinon le bac restera sur le sable jusqu’à ce que les eaux vont remonter.
Un autre danger ce que, la partie basse du bac d’une peut finalement se rouiller avec le temps. Face à tous ces dangers, le directeur technique de la RVF et coordonnateur du projet Lubi insiste, « si vous n’attirez pas l’attention des autorités, on aura rien ».
Selon notre source, le Directeur Provincial de l’Office des Routes Marcus Okitashutshia a indiqué qu’une réunion doit être convoquée pour mettre ensemble son entreprise et la notabilité de Kabeya Kamwanga, en vue de déterminer par consensus, le prix à payer pour la traversée. L’argent perçu sur la traversée permettra entre autres, à payer les travailleurs qui seront commis à ce bac et acheter le carburant, a-t-il ajouté.
Lors de son inauguration, le directeur provincial de l’OR avait fait savoir que ce bac d’une capacité de 10 tonnes servira désormais de la prolongation de axe routier bifurcation RN1 – village Matshia-Ndomba vers Dimbelenge(dans le Kasaï central) soit à Bena Kazadi en sortant sur la RN1 vers le lac Munkamba.
