Kasaï oriental-Covid19 : L’ONG IPAMEC poursuit la distribution des masques et purifiants aux populations de Cibombo

La lutte contre la pandémie à coronavirus au Kasaï oriental continue à être une priorité pour l’ONG Initiative Panier de la Ménagère de Cibombo (IPAMEC). Elle a poursuivi ce mercredi 20 mai la campagne de sensibilisation et distribution des masques et purifiants d’eau aux différentes couches de la population de Cibombo.

Parmi les bénéficiaires figurent notamment les conducteurs motos, les pédaleurs, les femmes marchandes, les meuniers, les vendeuses de la braise, les assistantes des meuniers communément appelées Katutula ainsi que les agents commis au poste de péage de Cibombo.

La délégation de IPAMEC a aussi ravitaillé en eau, le lave-mains placé au péage de Cibombo, un lave-mains don du gouvernement provincial par le biais de Jean Maweja Muteba. Cette équipe a aussi remis aux marchandes et marchands du marché Cibombo, un lave-mains d’une grande capacité, don de IPAMEC, pour faciliter le lavage des mains en cette période de pandémie.

Satisfaits, les bénéficiaires ont remercié le responsable de l’Initiative Panier de la Ménagère de Cibombo, l’abbé Stanis Kanda et le Coordonnateur Jean Bosco Tshilombo pour ce don en masques et purifiants.

 » Nous disons grandement merci à monsieur l’abbé Stanis Kanda pour avoir pensé à nous, conducteurs des motos. Avec ces masques, nous allons nous protéger contre cette maladie », a lâché l’un des conducteurs motos.

Désormais, quand nous servons au moulin, nous pouvons couvrir notre bouche et notre nez pour éviter la coronavirus », a dit une assistante des meuniers. Même témoignage pour les meuniers qui se voyaient exposés à cette pandémie. Chacun, dans sa catégorie, a manqué de verbe pour dire son remerciement aux responsables de cette structure.

Le Coordonnateur de IPAMEC a indiqué que depuis le début de cette campagne de distribution des masques et purifiants, plus de 3.600 personnes en ont déjà reçu.
